    Job Description
    Typhoon Texas Waterpark – Group Sales Manager
    • Maintain aggressive weekly telephone solicitations, outside sales and site tours
    • Develop relationships and partnerships to increase new business
    • Follow booking guidelines
    • Follow up promptly on leads generated by jotforms, phone calls and other lead sources
    • Send proposals to clients in a timely manner and clearly outline client’s request; pricing, catering, agenda day of event
    • Trace each account for the most effective date for follow-up
    • Obtain, document and route all necessary information on booked groups, including final numbers, catering and billing information in Sugar and Centeredge
    • Update all account statuses in our CRM as LOA Sent, Booked and Closed Won at the appropriate time
    • Solicit accounts within assigned territory utilizing Dun and Bradstreet and other resources
    • Active involvement in industry associations, chambers and other local community outreach
    • Work closely with all departments such as Food and Beverage to ensure that all details are communicated to ensure a successful event
    • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports as requested by your director in a timely manner
    • Attend weekly sales meetings and one on ones
    • Complete other duties and special projects as assigned by management
    Experience, skills and knowledge
    • Understand and supports the Typhoon Texas culture
    • Works effectively with other, on all levels, in a positive and professional manner
    • Has excellent communication skills which include the ability to use clear, concise and grammatically correct written and oral language in all aspects of interaction of guests, team members and directors.
    • An outgoing personality and the desire to effectively and professional represent Typhoon Texas is a must.
    • Has the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and possess excellent organization skills
    • Self-starter and ability to think creatively
    • Is flexible, adaptive and a team player
    • General knowledge of Microsoft Office products
    • Must have experience in cold calling, site inspections and contract negotiations and closing
    • 3 years sales experience preferred
    • College degree preferred
    • $40,000-$50,000 + Bonus
