As program manager, you’ll create new programs to keep our members involved, maintain the excellent programs we already have, and help promote tourism in Pflugerville. The right person for this job is a driven, highly motivated individual who can manage a variety of activities, develop new ones, and foster member engagement and volunteer participation. You’ll assist the CEO in establishing action plans which support the mission and are consistent with organizational goals.
We need someone who can think ahead to avoid disasters, so attention to detail is vital. The perfect candidate will be able to discern work priorities, problem-solve, meet deadlines, manage multiple projects, and stay on budget.
We work quickly and sometimes navigate unexpected changes on a small budget, so you must be a team-player with a great sense of humor. We value professionalism, a strong work ethic, and honesty.
This is a part-time position with a minimum of 20 hours/maximum of 40 hours per week. Hours will be dependent on projects and responsibilities with some flexibility to work from home.

Responsibilities Required:
Direct logistics, plan, coordinate and execute Chamber events, programs, meetings, and trainings from conception to evaluation. This includes all steps from beginning to end.
Monthly Events - Plan and execute the Monthly Luncheon and Morning Edition. Recruit speakers/topics, hire caterer, manage event registration webpage, organize the script and presentation, coordinate volunteers as needed, purchase supplies, and create agendas. Utilize social media to publicize events.
Annual Events – Plan the Chamber Banquet and Pfamily Pfestival and Chamber Expo. Work closely with the CEO to create strategies ensuring successful events. Responsible for carrying out the logistics of the events including communications, booth/ticket sales, programs/agendas, registrations, and donations. You will manage the volunteers assisting with various items.
COVID Protocols:
Employees are required to take a rapid test while working in the office. These tests are provided by the Chamber at no cost to the employees. Masks are to be worn while moving around the office space but can be removed while sitting at your own desk. We expect employees self-monitor as well and act responsibly to reduce the risk of spreading covid to others. (Covid protocols are subject to change at any time during this pandemic. We continually monitor local health guidance in making our decision)
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree preferred, preferably in a related field.
